WHO WE ARE

The ASEAN Confederation of Pharmaceutical Industry Associations (ACPIA) represents the trade associations of research pharmaceutical companies present in the Southeast Asian region.

HOW WE WORK

ACPIA facilitates discussions, understanding and collaboration to achieve shared goals and objectives that advance overall health and trade policies in the region.

The ACPIA founding members are the International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group (IPMG) of Indonesia; Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia (PhAMA); Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (SAPI); Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PReMA) of Thailand; and the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines (PHAP).

WHAT WE DO

As ASEAN moves to harmonization, there is a need for the industry to find new ways to collaborate on common goals and shared missions. Individual trade associations have come together and agreed to the formation of ACPIA. The regional group will endeavor to serve as an informed and credible voice for the industry in the Southeast Asian region.

ACPIA serves as an important platform for dialogue, collaboration and ways forward to promote policies that foster innovation, strong regulatory framework, high ethical standards and policies that will improve public health outcomes in the region.

WHAT WE ADVOCATE
